Model:HAV-2WP
Size:L190xW150(mm)
Weight:600g
Connector:Mx2
*HAV-2WP*
1. Four adjustable angles to the left and right: 90 degrees (L-shaped), 120 degrees, and 180 degrees. This allows for better usability even in confined spaces.
2. Enhanced SWR characteristics through adjustments in the balancing position.
3. Suitable mast diameter range: 25 to 65 mm.
◎ Using the HF mobile antenna allows for convenient HF operation from places like balconies.
◎ No grounding or ground reflectors are required, so it can operate normally in locations where grounding is not possible.
◎ Quick installation and removal make it suitable for operations in apartments and buildings, and it can also be used for mobile operations.
◎ The antenna installation angle can be selected from four options: 90 degrees, 120 degrees, and 180 degrees. (Please note that the two antennas cannot be used vertically at the same time.)
*Usage Instructions*
1. Secure the V-type bipole base tightly using the included U-bolts. (It can be mounted on pipes with a maximum diameter of 40 mm, either vertically or horizontally. For balcony installation and similar locations, it is recommended to use antenna mounting pipes like BK45 to minimize interference from metal railings.) When tightening the screws of the U-bolts, first loosen the screws of the balancer before proceeding.
2. Then, install two mobile antennas of the same frequency onto the connector of the base and connect the coaxial cable from the radio to the installed balancer. (The coaxial connector must be waterproofed; the connector part of the base has already been waterproofed.)
3. Use an SWR meter or antenna analyzer to adjust the installed antennas, ensuring that the SWR is below 2.0. The installation is now complete.
*SWR Adjustment*
Adjust the SWR according to the user manual of the antenna used by adjusting the lengths of the elements. During this process, alternate the adjustments of the left and right element lengths to achieve the lowest SWR. Sometimes, the antennas may be affected by buildings, ground, etc., preventing a reduction in SWR; hence, it is recommended to change the height or orientation of the antennas. Shortened antennas have a narrower bandwidth, so it is suggested to use them with a tuner.
*Precautions*
1. Always use antennas with the same frequency on both sides during use. Both can use multi-band antennas. Secure them to the balcony railing or mast using the included U-bolts. When removing the antennas, use the included waterproof cap. Take care during installation and removal to avoid dropping the antenna, base, and components.
*Included Components*
